  • He has a PhD (2019.04-2022.11) in the Eye and Vision Science Department, University of Liverpool, UK, where he is supervised by Prof. Yalin Zheng and Prof. Xiaowei Huang. He has an M.Sc (2017-2018) in the School of Computing, University of Leeds, UK, and a B.Eng (2013-2017) in the Software Engineering Department, Capital Normal University, China.
  • Yanda’s current research mainly focuses on Medical Image Analysis, Foundation Models, Data-Efficient Deep Learning, Trustworthy AI, Geometric Deep Learning, etc. He has published more than 40 papers in peer-reviewed journals and conferences and first/corresponding-authored more than 20 publications in prestigious journals/conferences, such as AAAI, ICCV, ECCV, BMVC, MICCAI, IEEE-TMI, IEEE-TITS, MedIA, Diabetologia, etc. He serves as a reviewer for many journals/conferences such as CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, MICCAI, Medical Physics, AIM, CMIG, CBM, MedIA, IEEE-TMI, IEE-TIP, IEEE-TCSVT, IEEE-JBHI, etc. He is a guest editor for IEEE-JBHI, Mathematics, and Frontiers in Medicine.
